This is why an athlete must have a greater source of sports nutrition than the average person.

These supplements are also used for therapeutic purposes when a person's nutritional needs exceed the amount of nutrition that he/she can get from the daily food. The nutraceuticals industry serves a huge market in the United States.

Antioxidants are vitamin supplements that are used to retard the aging process in people. They take care of the dangerous free radicals that roam around in our bodies, creating havoc with the cellular DNA. They also prevent premature aging in people.
